The Lost Colony

The English wanted a colony in North America hoping to find gold and silver there. In 1585, about 100 Englishmen arrived at Roanoke Island, near North Carolina. In 1587, more settlers arrived. Their leader, John White, traveled to England to buy supplies, and upon his return to Roanoke, he found no trace of the colony or its inhabitants, including his own family. There were few clues to what might have happened, apart from a single word—“Croatoan”— carved into a wooden post.
Great

What text structure could this be based on the clue words?
